Today, I’m thrilled to announce the start of my campaign for Mayor of Idaho Falls. Connecting with so many of you over the past months has reaffirmed what makes our city more than just a place to live—it’s a vibrant community where families thrive and neighbors genuinely care for one another. This is our home, and we stand at a pivotal moment in its story.

As someone who had no plans to run for office, I’m stepping up because I see the need for leadership that listens and prioritizes Idaho Falls’ best interests. My family and I chose this city for its values and sense of community. We’re deeply invested here, and I want to ensure that Idaho Falls remains a place we can all proudly call home.

Why I’m Running

I’ve watched the decisions shaping our city’s recent trajectory and felt a growing concern. We need leadership that reflects the values unique to Idaho Falls, not just trends that overlook what makes us exceptional. It’s time to focus on enhancing what’s best about our city and preparing it for a bright future.

My Vision: Families, Growth, Leadership

This vision is built on three key elements:

  • Families First: Support for affordable starter homes is crucial so that more families can build equity, create generational wealth, and invest in Idaho Falls’ future. Cultivating safe, caring neighborhoods where folks look out for each other is foundational for our community.

  • Smart Growth: Growth must strengthen rather than change our community. We must ensure infrastructure readiness before development, preserving the character that makes Idaho Falls unique.

  • Common Sense Leadership: Decisions should always start by asking “Why?” before “How?”. Transparency and practical solutions are key. I’m committed to this city and will ensure the policies we pursue support a thriving Idaho Falls that honors its heritage while embracing its future.
