Idaho Falls deserves leadership that puts families first, manages growth with care, and restores common sense to city government.
After 12 years of the same approach, it’s time for a genuine fresh start—not another familiar face with familiar promises. I’m stepping forward not as a politician, but as a neighbor who loves this city and believes it’s worth protecting.
Let’s honor what makes Idaho Falls special, fix what needs fixing, and secure a future our families will be proud of.
I’m a husband, father of four, and your neighbor. My family chose Idaho Falls because it still reflects the family-centered values my wife and I grew up with—values disappearing in much of the country. We didn’t move here by chance; we made a deliberate decision to invest our lives in this community. Since then, we’ve been deeply involved—serving as Troopmaster for Trail Life USA, volunteering at local events, and working alongside community organizations and non-profits.
Professionally, I’ve led initiatives and collaborated with teams across the globe—solving complex challenges, navigating high-stakes decisions, and balancing competing priorities. That means knowing when to champion bold ideas and when to say “no” for the good of the whole. Those are the same skills Idaho Falls needs in its mayor.
I never set out to run for political office. But I believe in transparency, accountability, and keeping citizens—not special interests—at the center of every decision. I’m running because I love this city and want growth that strengthens, rather than erases, the character of the Idaho Falls we chose to call home.
My focus is on decisions rooted in the needs of those who already call Idaho Falls home—guided by three clear priorities and practical solutions.
Strong families are the heart of a strong community. When they thrive, Idaho Falls thrives.
Support affordable starter homes so more families can put down roots—not only more high-density rentals.
Prioritize public safety and foster neighborhoods where people know and look out for each other.
Create inclusive, accessible spaces designed for everyday family life—not just to follow trends.
Growth should strengthen our community—not change it beyond recognition.
Roads, utilities, and safety services must be ready before approving new development.
Preserve the character of stable neighborhoods and prevent incompatible rezoning.
Require developers to provide the infrastructure their projects need—without burdening existing residents.
Practical, transparent leadership rooted in how we actually live—not political trends.
Ensure policies are necessary and serve the community’s best interests before acting.
Put resident and local business voices at the center of every decision.
Explain what’s being decided and why—so you always see the principles behind the action.
1. | Current Residents | Families and individuals who live, work, and invest in Idaho Falls today |
2. | Current Businesses | Employers and local entrepreneurs who strengthen our economy and culture |
3. | Neighbors and Visitors | Guests and regional supporters who contribute through tourism, shopping, and services |
4. | Future Businesses | New businesses and services that create jobs, expand options, and add value to the community |
5. | Future Residents | Those who may one day join our community—without changing its character |
As mayor, every major decision—budgets, zoning, development, city services—will be guided by a simple test: Does this put today’s residents and businesses first?
If a policy favors future interests at the expense of today’s community, it doesn’t pass. Growth and opportunity matter, but never at the cost of the people and neighborhoods who already make Idaho Falls great.
That’s my promise: thoughtful decisions, clear priorities, and Idaho Falls first.

Every vote in Idaho Falls is crucial. With fewer than 10,000 voters setting the city's course out of nearly 70,000 residents, your voice is more powerful than ever.
This election is a chance for genuine change versus more of the same. It's about choosing fresh perspectives that prioritize families, responsible growth, and transparency.
On November 4th, shape Idaho Falls to reflect the true values of its people. Vote, and encourage your friends, family, and neighbors to join you. Together, we will make a real difference.
